This band serves to prevent swelling from the treatment from sinking to the eyes. It is best to wear this band for at least 3 days. Unless the doctor advises you otherwise. When you want to remove it for a moment, you always pull the strap down and not over the head. When you no longer need to wear the band you pull it down toward your neck and cut it in half.
Yes, you will be given antibiotics and painkillers. This is explained by the attending physician after treatment. You will also be given the explanation of how and when to treat and wash the scalp after the treatment. Of course, we will also give you the explanation in writing.
Sleep best on your back for the first 5 days. You can take an airplane pillow and put it on your neck.
You can definitely get outside. There is absolutely no harm in that.
For the first 3 weeks, do not go in the sun, do not burn the scalp, do not swim in the sea and do not practice strenuous sports. This is not conducive to wound healing.
You may shower but always be very careful with your scalp. For the first week, the grafts should grow in and not be touched too much and/or wet. From your neck down, you can shower. You can wash your face with a washcloth
For at least 10 days after the procedure, you should not wear a cap or hat. The grafts should grow firmly into your head and nothing should touch them that could interfere with the healing process. From day 10 you may put on a cap when the scabs are completely gone.

If you happen to be in Turkey, you are always welcome. But otherwise, we expect you to send pictures of the front, sides and back of your head after 10 days. All the scabs should then be gone.
From the 7th day, we expect the scabs to be almost all off. By day 10, all scabs should be completely gone. Therefore, we would like to receive photos of your head that day.
As early as day 10 after transplantation, the hairs may begin to fall out. As long as there are scabs, the hair cannot fall out.
Hairs always come off with or without a hair root. But the hair follicle itself is in your skin, and that hair follicle is going to produce the new hair.
It’s best to wait 2 weeks with intense exercise. After this period, you can slowly build everything up again. For the first 2 weeks, try to avoid sweating too hard on your head.
After 8 weeks, you can get your hair cut again. You can shave back or treat the area where the hair was transplanted with clippers after 3 months. The donor area may be shaved back after 1 month.
You can rub itchy scabs with a thin layer of body lotion or aloe vera cream. In any case, do not scratch open the scabs!
After 10 days, you can expect your hair to fall out. This may persist for about 4 weeks. Sometimes the hair does not fall out, but in most cases it does.
Starting 3 months after the transplant, your hair begins to grow. After about 7 months (7 to 10 to 12 months), the final result is achieved. When exactly this is depends from person to person.
